This document describes the methods of management of the website of Fondazione Giancarlo Ligabue (hereinafter for brevity Ligabue), concerning processing of the personal data of users/visitors who consult it. Users/visitors who wish to receive information by clicking on or using the contacts indicated on this website spontaneously provide their e-mail addresses to Ligabue. Users/visitors must read this Privacy Policy carefully before sending any type of personal information and/or filling out any e-form present on the website.

Type of data processed and purposes of processing
1. Browsing data
The computer systems and software procedures used for functioning of the Ligabue website acquire certain personal data during normal operation, transmission of which is implicit in use of the Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with the parties identified, but could allow the users to be identified, due to its nature, through processing and association with data held by third parties. This data category includes IP addresses and domain names of the computers used by the users which connect to the website, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used in submitting the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the digital code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and computer environment. This data is used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on use of the website and to check its correct functioning and is deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the case of possible computer crimes damaging the website: except in this case, data on website contacts does not currently persist for more than seven days.
2. Data provided voluntarily by the user
The optional, specific or voluntary sending of e-mails to the addresses indicated on this website involves subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, necessary to respond to the requests, and also any other personal data contained in the e-mail. Voluntary registration on the Ligabue website, when required to obtain particular services, will be preceded by specific information which will be progressively provided and displayed on the specific pages of the website.

A "cookie" is a small quantity of data containing a unique and anonymous identification code which is sent to the user’s/visitor’s browser by a Web server and which is subsequently stored on the hard drive of their computer. Privacy at Ligabue
Ligabue processes third-party data institutionally, adopting the necessary measures to guarantee confidentiality and security of the data processed, in harmony with technological progress in general and progress in Information Technology in particular. In application of current regulations on protection of personal data, Ligabue has organised this as follows:

Ligabue only acquires the personal data strictly necessary for performance of the services requested or the purposes for which it has been collected; particular care is taken in the case of sensitive data, which is only processed after assessing, cases by case, that it cannot be processed in anonymous form. Ligabue adopts the necessary security measures in processing personal data, both physical and computer-based, in compliance with the requirements of the Privacy Code and the technical regulations attached to it. When processing is complete, the company stores the processed data if this is obligatory and, if it is not or the required time period has passed, deletes the data or converts it into anonymous form.
